Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

I had many comebacks. But the greatest comeback for me was in a match in which I already had my shoulder injury. I was down 0:6 2:5 0-40 and I really felt the pain in my shoulder. I saved many MPs with Service winners. I won at the end with 0:6 7:6(7:5) 6:4 after saving 8 Match Points. After being down 2:5 0-40 in the second set I moved pretty well and I ignored my pain in a way. It was one of my last matches before my injury break.

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

I had several this season, which has been a very good one:

- From 4-6 0-3 to 4-6 6-3 6-3
- The following day, from 3-6 6-4 3-5 to 3-6 6-4 7-5 (with dramatic cramping in the last game for my opponent)
- From 3-6 3-5 to 3-6 7-5 7-5 (3 hours of chokefests from both and endless rollercoaster, down 4-5, 0-30 in the third too... the guys scheduled after literally HATED us)

A couple years ago I won a match 3-6 7-6 7-6 saving a MP in 2nd set tie-break with a dropshot winner. One of my fondest memories, really.

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

0-5 behind third set, opponent ran too fast onto the net pole and had to forfeit coz he couldn't walk properly anymore.

Not my best match, but I took it and won the title the next day

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

My greatest comeback came this weekend actually I was in the semifinals of an adult tournament with my friend in doubles and we came back from 3-6 0-3 to eventually win the match 3-6 6-3 10-7 in super tiebreak. It was incredible I don't know how we did it but we did and I ended up winning my first doubles title. Really proud since I don't usually play doubles.

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

I remember a few

4:6 6:3 MTB 7:9
saved 5 MPs to win MTB 14-12

3:6 3:4*
came back to win 3:6 6:4 MTB 10:4

7:6 2:6 MTB 0:4
ruled the MTB in the end to win 10:5

3:6 7:6 10:8
was down multiple times in that match, 3-5 in the 2nd set TB and also 2:6 in the MTB

Did I already say I love those MTB's?

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

A one set doubles match from *1-5 15-40 2nd serve saving 7Mps

Also a 3-6 4-4* 30-40* to 3-6 6-4 6-0. I don't play a lot of 3 setters in singles so this is actually my biggest 'comeback' in a 3 setter.

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

Back when I was still a junior I was playing a tournament and was up against a friend. I was down 0-5 in the first set and my buddy was serving for the set. I broke him and went on to win the next 12 games with the final score being 7-5, 6-0. He didn't talk to me for a while after that...

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

Last week.

I was down a set and 1-4. Managed to save 2 match points at 4-5. Won the set 7-5, and then saved another match point at 5-6 in the third. I ended up winning the tie-break 7-4 and therefore the match.

Re: Your biggest comeback in a tennis match???

^ spooky similarity. Meanwhile my friend had a special vip tell him his account was hacked.. Very odd.

I had no comeback the other day. Serve so strong and I rode it to a 6-4 win..

Of course we then played more, and the miserable opponent cheated even more, so i cannot count a game or two where aces fly by and he says 'let' like he had a chance to hit those back!!

In September 1994, I lost the first set then won the next two.
