Cool Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

So Indian Wells is right around the corner. The draw will be out tomorrow. Ági is the 28th seed, which means she will not actually play until Friday or Saturday since she has a first round bye, but since the draw is out, we may as well wish her good luck .

Hopefully we will see Quartervay again, or even Semivay, as Secondroundvay lasted three tournaments .

My number one: Victoria Azarenka

ATP: Novak Djoković

Re: Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

And how about doubles? I doubt she'll play with Vinci since has done very well with Errani lately, but maybe Dulko. Or someone else? She should definitely play though IMO.

Re: Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

Okay, Sveta and Kimmy debuted a new Fila line at the Billie Jean King Cup, and on the IW website, they are advertising Ági in this, which looks very similar to what the others were wearing: so I guess that will be what she will wear .

Re: Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

Go Agi! I think Dulko played with Peer last year and they reached the final, so Gisela probably wants to play with Shahar again
All I know is that she won't play with Cibulkova . Azarenka? They did very well together in the juniors

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.
Grammatikopoulou ~ Papamichail ~ Sakkari
I'm obsessed with the Greek players. Deal with it.

Re: Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

Oh, and why is all of FILA's stuff red, white and blue? (They aren't even American )?
Last year in Miami she wore that white/black/pink thing which was okay, and at RG she had the black/white/pink dress and also she had white/green at the AO, but still...
They're past 5 collections were just red, white, and blue

And I think that Agi won't wear a new outfit until Miami since last year she wore that white/green oufit (the one that she revived in Budapest ) in Indian Wells before getting a new one in Miami

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.

Yeah Fila is definitely boring lately, bur boring is better than ugly, which it was a few years ago. I was thinking that today too, they love white with stripes either way, she'll be wearing that soon I guess.

Ági/Azarenka would be love, but Vika might play with Vera again we'll see I guess or maybe hakapeszi or another informed poster knows.

I REALLY hope her draw is nowhere near Henin .

Re: Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

Since she will (presumably) play a top eight seed in the third round, I will analize them all:

1. Kuznetsova - This would be tough, but you never know with Sveta, and Ági has played her before, so Ági could beat her this time
2. Wozniacki - Wozniacki hasn't had a great year, but I think she would match up horribly to Ági's game, so I hope this doesn't happen
3. Azarenka - Azarenka is playing great this year and has beaten Ági before. On an off-day Ági could win, but we can't count on that....
4. Dementieva - Dementieva has played well this year, and although Ági has beaten her before I think this would be really tough
5. Agnieszka Radwanska - This is not a great match-up for Ági, but still better than the four above IMO
6. Jankovic - JJ is tough, but Ági has beaten her in the past, and JJ is having a crap year, so this would be a pretty good draw
7. Na Li - Ági needs revenge for the AO, where she should have won. Na Li has not played too well since then, she is beatable
8. Stosur - This would probably be the easiest, although Sam could be tough you never know

So tbh none of them are really unbeatable. I guess hopefully she can stay away from Lena, Caro, and Vika as those are probably toughest for her.

^Agreed 100%
But "you never know with Sveta" isn't as true as it used to be

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.

Re: Ági in the USA! Part One: Indian Wells.

Draw is out!
R1 vs. BYE
R2 vs. Q/Voegele
R3 vs. Kuznetsova/Cornet/Suarez Navarro

Bad draw
The Q could be tricky if it is Krajicek or Martic or someone, and Kuznetsova is the top seed, Suarez Navarro can be tough at her best, and Cornet is not slumping at all this year (just getting really bad draws)

Daniilidou. Venus. Azarenka. Halep. Wickmayer.
Cornet. Ivanovic. Vesnina.. Vaidisova. Krajicek.
Paszek. Begu. Cirstea. Lisicki. Pavlyuchenkova.
Pironkova. Stephens. Tatishvili. McHale. Flipkens.

And at the AO she went all the way against Kerber I think Ági would have finished her off. Well you never know with Ági either .

Hmm this is a tough draw. I think hope she can get to the third round, but that will be tough and if she SOMEHOW got through it's Kleybanova or Clijsters. Well Quartervay here would certainly be a dream. She definitely has the potential to do it though .

And I still wonder about doubles I heard the draw was coming out today, but it doesn't seem like it maybe tomorrow? IDK. Any no one knows with whom she is playing (or if she's playing, which she better) I take it?

FILA photoshoot today

Winter Is Coming

"Fine words." Tyrion was unimpressed. "Words are wind. Who is this bloody savior?"
"A dragon." The cheesemonger saw the look on his face at that, and laughed. "A dragon with three heads."
