Car accident triggers very lucky escape!

Just speechless. The driver of the jeep who hurtled through the red light was drunk and has been arrested.
If not for the sedan colliding into it from the side, the couple pushing the stroller would have been totalled.

Re: Car accident triggers very lucky escape!

I think the other driver accelerated and rammed into the drunk driver on purpose. Very quick mind.
Shvedbarilescu, Perun and JaySix like this.

"Sometimes we've wondered if Martina actually knew what she was saying. Maybe it was her age or inexperience or something got lost in the translation. But I don't know. She comes out with something astounding and then just stares at you like, 'What did I say?' But then she'll have that glint in her eye."

Nope. Pure luck.

Who cares of hypertrophic weapons when the player on the court moves like music?

YT is full of examples like these. Here's a man saving a cyclist... doesn't look like it, but he did.

I find this crosswalk seriously savage, though. Look at the cars hurrying in front of the pedestrians

Probably pure luck, yeah. But still, I like Sammo's interpretation better.

It was serendipitous to my mind.
I can't really think of many who would purposely put their own lives in danger this way nor have the capability to attend to two targets on either side of them in such a short time (pedestrians plus the screaming idiot of a driver) AND trigger an appropriate response. That is something Superman could do. I'm glad the sedan driver got out better than it could have been.
