First round match vs Quaterfinal match. big difference

Also i dont think it's about the amount of games won, Serena lost 0-6, 0-6 to Konta and didn't get fined.

They have a history of Eurovison comments, maybe Ben had enough.

Don't agree with Ben's tweets but Sven seems to have had it for him Nothing wrong in blocking a bully

He still works as a freelancer unlike Chris Clarey, since his family is rich and has allowed him to be able to pay his way to tournaments without the Times having to fund him.

ROTTENberg and Courtney, still somehow a WTA insider despite her transphobic tweets and views on Francesca Schiavone, are prime reasons why tennis is sadly in a niche, clique level.

Hacks like these two shouldn't be "prominent journalists." But instead, they are indeed that, thanks in part to Wertheim and his own hackish self.

Re: Ben Rothenberg Blocks Sloane Stephens’ Coach Sven Groeneveld On Twitter

Sven was sticking up for player in David Goffin, who has a tremendous reputation in the ATP locker room as being as professional as there can be.

You have, sadly, a "prominent" tennis journalist basically accusing David Goffin of "tanking."

That's a MASSIVE charge (with no clear proof other than scoreboard) for anyone to make, yet alone a "journalist" like Rottenberg and threat to his prize money, which is HUGE as a Slam quarterfinalist.

Meanwhile, Bernard Tomic's best surface has always been grass. He made the Wimbledon quarterfinals at 18 (and played Djokovic real tight in a fun 4th setter) and should always be, at least, a tough player to play against on grass. Tomic should NEVER get crushed by anybody on grass, let alone in the first round.

It was completely shameful again that Tomic went out in the first round like that again.

Clearly Rottenberg was indeed watching too much Eurovision, since it has further blinded his vision to actually see things properly.

Here you go, as we all called her out on Twitter for it two years ago.

It is so unfortunate and insane that she still has a prominent job with the WTA.

Re: Ben Rothenberg Blocks Sloane Stephens’ Coach Sven Groeneveld On Twitter

To be honest it's really obvious when you know it's Ben or Courtney asking a question during an interview: they try to sound smart with what they think are well-crafted questions, but it just comes across as pretentious and self serving, rather than really trying to get to know the player. Yep, the intellectual snobbery is strong with these two, and this is coming from someone with a PhD lol.

Ben and Courtney are made for each other
But I suspect Courtney is secretly a lesbo based on her many many Killing Eve references
