Yes! Right here (in Melbourne)!

I was driving home late one night and listening to one of those radio charts, and I couldn't believe my ears! Then they announced it: "Era Istrefi - Bonbon"!

I think the chorus was something like "Bonbon, I got whatchu want want" or something

I can't find it anywhere, but it should be coming out soon...right?

I love the Albanian version, so I kinda don't wanna hear the English one...but it will be nice to get it, I guess.

Is Gheg really different from Tosk? Can you understand one perfectly if you know the other?

I know this band. Thought they were from Albania but they're from Kosovo too.

We understand one another whenever we speak the two dialects, they are not THAT different. But when it comes to music, and songs, there is a tendency lately to make songs while singing them in the Gheg dialect. Especially when it comes to rap. The rap in Albania is not as good as the rap in Kosovo and it has to do with the Gheg dialect being more flowy, cool in a way.

You should also check Dhurata Dora. She's gonna be big soon.

If you're into a more traditional sound, this is what you're looking for. I think I posted it before, but this gem should never be forgotten!

Re: The Kosovan music revolution!

I'm always so far behind I'm only just getting into Dua Lipa's 'hotter than hell' and it was on the first page of the thread

Still it's a good follow up and nice of her to make a song describing herself in the title

Re: The Kosovan music revolution!

Still get a surprise every time I hear Bonbon on the Australian radio in English

Dua Lipa is really blowing up bigger than Era, but I think Bonbon is the best song out of all
