Cool The Bank of the West Classic

I watched Marie play in California and I can say she hit harder than anyone at this tournament but needs to get into better shape. I also played tennis on the court next to her everyday that week and she watched me hit a lot, I think she wanted to take me on, I did not know who she was until her first match and after watching her take out Meghann Shaughnessy I am glad I did not hit with her, she would have hurt me pretty bad. I talked to her later and she had a huge smile on her face when I said she was amazing. The next match she took the first set from Clijsters and was the clear better hitter, but Marie is not in that great of shape and Kim ran her into the ground the next two sets. I think if Marie got into good shape with that hammer arm she has she could be number one, I am certain. Marie if you need a trainer I would do that. [email protected]
At one point when I was working on my serve and I have a pretty good serve Marie walked by and looked right at me with a very hard look and she did not look away, I felt like she was drilling holes in me, I am not sure what she wanted, was she checking me out or did she want to kill me. I can say she has heart and is intense on the court, if she gets into shape look out tennis world.

Cool Don't be a hater.

Rothes the truth my friend at Stanford and I go there every year, some of the pro's run across the campus to an isolated set of courts, college students play there along side the pros working out during this event, they are not bothered as much there it seems. I watch Kournikova, Clijsters, Hewett, and several others out there, so don't be shocked by what I say, also I have to say I have played at some rich clubs when I am doing the USTA NorCalifornia tennis NTRP and Seniors tour all year (Yes I play those events). However keep in mind I am not a member of those rich clubs and I only get to go there for tournaments, other days they would not let me in okay, I am middle class at best. So don't hate me for being able to talk to the pro's, just go out and see the events yourself and walk up and say hi to them, they will respond to you, just be nice. And please stop the mean mugg'in.
