Arrow Sandrine @ Italian Serie A1

Sandrine is listed in Tc Parioli's team for the 2005 Italian Serie A1 together with Roberta Vinci, Stephanie Cohen-Aloro, Emmanuelle Gagliardi and other Italian players.

The first match will be played on October 9th, in Genova, against Nathalie Vierin, Alice Canepa, Maja Matevzic and Giorgia Mortello.

With this kind of events, you never know if the players are really going to show up. But the fact she's listed as 4th player makes me wish she will play doubles with Roberta.

After the first two singles matches, it's 1-1: Zanchetta won, Ivone lost to Canepa.

I haven't any other detail at this moment, but the last singles match will be played by the team #1s, I suppost it will be Vinci vs Vierin.

Still waiting for the doubles.

No Sandrine.

Tc Parioli won 3-1, Vinci won in singles and doubles, but together with Ivone.

I was thinking the same thing, considering she might play only home matches in Rome.

I'll keep you posted.

Next match is on October 16th, in Rome, against Tc Palladio, who won the first match 3-1 too.

The team COULD include Farina-Elia, Pennetta and Santangelo, but day 1 matches have been played by Smashnova, Grande and Zavagli. A tough team anyway.

BTW, Shaughnessy is playing for Ct Bologna.

Wow, they're loaded and Flavia's playing out of her mind so that will be a tough hurdle.

I still think Sandrine and Roby will be a tough doubles team to beat and Roby's playing well so.....
