Sandrine @ Zürich-Kloten & Linz

Good news. Sandrine is entered for the Swisscom Challenge in Zürich and then is scheduled for the Generali Ladies in Linz. Sandrine is #10 at Zürich and #4 at Linz. Hopefully, she'll get a good draw, although the calibre of players at these events are much higher. Allez Sandrine!!!!!

Talking

Sandrine ahead of Venus
Okay but hopefully she'll play some good tennis. Maybe the bad results were all because of the injury, who knows

Come on Sandrine

Thanks Guycan

I'm so excited Sandrine has entered a couple indoor tournaments. I really think this is her best surface but these are VERY tough draws. Hopefully she's planning a warmup and her name will pop up in one of the two 25K indoor challenger tournaments in France or Britain this week.

Allez!!!

She pulled out at Linz. Can't find any reason.

Too bad but a wise decision if she didn't think she was quite ready to compete with the Big Babes. She's scheduled to compete in the Italian Team Series on Sunday so it will be interesting to see if she turns up there.

Does anyone know if she plans on competing next year? By all accounts, I guess I would have to lean to the pessimistic side. She did say at the beginning of the year, that her participation in the 2005 Season would depend on her results and rank at the end of this year. With only 1 win on the WTA Tour against Serna, I don't think it's looking up. Kind of disappointing if she doesn't return, because I finally will have time to go to Roland Garros next year. Just my luck. But, let's cross our fingers for good news! At least the doubles Sandrine!
