My two Finalists would be:

Craig Tyzzer (Coach of World No 1 Ashleigh Barty)
Coached her from # 15 to # 1 winning 4 Tournaments with her: Miami, Roland Garros, Birmingham, WTA Finals. 57-12 Record in Singles per WTA from Barty.

Sylvain Bruneau (Coach of World No 5 Bianca Andreescu)
Coached her from outside the # 150s to No # 5 winning 3 Tournaments with her: Indian Wells, Rogers Cup, US Open. 48-7 Record in Singles per WTA from Andreescu.

I don't think that you can give the Award to someone other than those two BUT if you have a different opinion please post it :)

They need to drop this award altogether. I think it was a failed experiment. Players don’t stay with coaches long enough these days which makes this award very short-lived and frankly awkward.

Hopefully Bajin was the first and last ever WTA coach of the year.

Definitely Tyzzer. Andreescu's coach is one I have not seen very much of. Barty's coach is more visible because she calls him more often. Andreescu doesn't seem to call her coach as often as the other girls but maybe that's their plan. Tyzzer can turn around a match after one OCC. I've seen it happen.

I honestly think Sylvain Bruneau should win this pretty easily. The fact that Bianca rarely calls him for OCC should just add to how prepared she is for each match both tactically and mentally. Bianca seems to morph into a different type of player depending on who she is facing and that’s a testament to Bruneau’s phenomenal analysis and match planning with her. In the rare cases when he is called for OCC he always says the right thing and gets Bianca in the right mindset she needs to be in while also providing critical tactics They obviously have great chemistry as shown by that amazing third set OCC in the Indian Wells final and the second set of the R1 match in Miami . However, I wouldn’t be mad if Tyzzer won as he’s really helped Barty reach her full potential.
