When was the last time two sisters won doubles title and also singles title after facing each other in final? Help
even with the honestly quite low level of competition there, it's quite an incredible feat. As far as I can check, the last time twins took doubles title and played both in the single's final was in Grenoble 2012 (Pliskova's)
The Kichenoks had done it in Kharkiv in 2009. Lyudmyla beat Nadiia 6-7 (2), 6-3, 6-2 in the singles final and, as second seeds, they combined to beat the top seeds, Veronika Kapshay and Irina Kuzmina, 2-6, 6-2, 10-3 in the doubles.
That singles final in Grenoble must have been quite something to watch, as Karolina won 7-6 (11), 7-6 (6). The only other final in which they've played each other was a couple of years earlier in Kurume, Japan, where Kristyna won 5-7, 6-2, 6-0.
The Morderger twins from Germany have done it as well, but in juniors in 2012 in Almere, in the Netherlands. Yana beat Tayisiya in the singles final, and then they combined to beat Mathilde Armitano and Margot Yerolymos in the doubles final.
