Seoul F: [3] Muchova routines [4] Linette 6-1 6-1

This was practically the perfect match from Muchova.

Barely made any mistakes today, just played a very aggressive match with her usual flair and variety and just didn't give Linette any openings at all. Didn't face a single break point, 90% first serve points won and about 70% second serves too. Not going to get broken with serving numbers like that.

First title for Kaja, and well deserved. Really such a breakthrough season for her, I hope she can stay injury free and rise up the rankings because her game is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Best game aesthetic wise on tour among the current players imo.

Linette was dire today, not sure what was wrong with her, but her serving today gave me Demientieva vibes with all the DFs everywhere. I still thought she could have played much better but don't think she would have beaten Muchova with the way Kaja played today, but still a very good last month or so for her.

Muchova has well and truly become my 2nd favourite Czech player behind Petra, and I hope she'll take the mantle over from Kvitova as the best Czech after Petra retires.

Congrats Kaja Statement win for Muchova! Great run overall, losing only one set in total. Considering she made Wimbledon QF, it's not too surprising she would win a title eventually.

Ash Barty!!

Magda wasn't ready to play today. She was struggling so hard... her serve was a nightmare today.. The rain delay destroyed her momentum. Still great week She was so disappointed, Congrats to Muchova, nice girl Good luck in Bejing

Flawless match by Muchova, saving her energy for tomorrow in Wuhan.
A demilitarized zone too far for Linette.

Great performance from Kaja and finally winning her first title ...I liked how aggressive and deep her ROS was...the depth of returns definitely troubled Linette a lot. If she can get consistent with her ROS like this, she is gonna be such a problem for top players. Forehand was firing excellently today. Great tournament from Kaja..played better than USO...will be making her top40 debut and is close to cracking that top32.

I think it was windy out there and that probably could have affected Magda's performance...she had too many DFs on important points.

Shame that the match got delayed because of rain that really hampered the crowd attendance, Seoul finals normally have packed and great crowds like the year Ostapenko won.

Muchova is the new Mandlikova.

Congrats on this title!

Who cares of hypertrophic weapons when the player on the court moves like music?

Impressive win by KM

It may be a MM only, but it will hopefully serve for her as a springboard for further success.

I was like a boy a big fan of Hana Mandlikova. If Karolina had otherwise been cut, there would be some resemblance, but by playing is Karolina far more aggressive.

For me, Kaja has the most aesthetically pleasing game on tour currently..it was even more fun to watch in the last few matches when her groundstrokes were lot more consistent and that forehand was clicking so well.
