Osaka dismissed Jenkins

She just posted it a minute ago on twitter. Not a surprise at all, Osaka regressed under Jenkins who did not impress in his OCC performances, offering very bland basic ideas to Osaka. She needs Bajin back.

Re: Naomi Osaka & Jermaine Jenkins Part Ways

Great decision. That "early" USO exit may have done it for her methinks.

He clearly wasn't doing anything for her game IMO. Felt like her game and mentality regressed under him and he doesn't seem like the coach is strong-headed (or experienced) enough to motivate her.

I wonder who she'll hire next. Maybe Carlos Rodriguez? Or maybe she'll take David Witt (Venus' old coach)? Or... dare I say.... Sascha back?

Interesting decision to announce this split just before her home tournament though

Re: Naomi Osaka & Jermaine Jenkins Part Ways

The split with Bajin wasn't smooth at all, she stopped attending his training sessions, the relationship didn't end well.

Something happened, doubt they get back together.

I don't think their time together was a disaster, but yeah, she could do with some fresh perspective in mind.

Wonder who she'll hire next. Definitely not Bajesus lol. I'm guessing someone based in the Florida area. Does Hogstedt have a job right now?

Re: Naomi Osaka & Jermaine Jenkins Part Ways

Osaka reached a SF in Stuttgart, so its not all bad since January
Lets see what happens in the autumn tournaments. She should have fresh legs with all the early round losses

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
Enjoy This Moment!!

Peterson is steadly improving, it would be a shame for her if someone was to steal her coach.

Well, at least he gained some experience, maybe he can coach some low ranked player and not go back to his USTA desk job. Good decision IMO. Osaka's mum started following Wissette. Just saying... Vika you in danger girl.

What's with all the bombshell news as of late? Anyways, it didn't seem like the partnership was working out too well. I hope Naomi gets a another coach soon!

Isn't Sam Sumyk available?

NOOOOOOOOO!
Didn't you read what Sveta said about him?!

Say what you want about Sascha but he had her focused and prepared for her matches.
