Bullshit. Get water from the tap, if you care about the environment, not from little single use plastic bottles.

Re: Sharapova and Madison Keys recycling ad

How can tennis players pretend to love the environment with a straight face?

OK, some players now refuse to use water battles and tell the stringers not to use plastic bags but they're still on a plane every week and that's when they aren't flaunting their private jet. There's no solution for that as tennis is a global sport but a top ten player will finish his/her career with a bigger carbon footprint than most small towns.

It's an American ad. Tap water is toxic in America. It hasn't been used for drinking in decades.

That's the reason I unfollowed Naomi Broady on Insta. She put a lot of environmental stuff on her story when Amazon fire went viral. It's allright to be eco-conscious, but stop pretend you are the most eco-friendliest individual, when you have such a big carbon footprint.

Then why throw it in the pink bin instead of blue?

Now it will be their fault when evians pile up in the wrong bins.

Ok, I agree about the hypocrisy but the ad is kind of hypnotic.

I think it's the drumming.

They're very accurate at hitting those bottles in the trashcan. Unfortunately tennis is played with tennis balls and they can't keep 'em in play.

.

In 10 years time all tournaments will be played in China so that problem will ease.

I would like to see Sharapova try that spinning around shot in a match. Maybe that's the secret to beating Serena.

Because it's an Evian ad, not a recycling ad And evian's brand is pink

Ironically it ends with "throw it in the right bin", which is not quite what they are doing

Their job requires them to fly, I wouldn't give them shit for it. Past a certain point, I have limited patience for enviro-Nazis.
