Are (picture) producers told to intentionally mislead viewers to protect umpires?

It seems that with the recent introduction of VAR in soccer they always accidentally seem to show every replay angle, except for the one that could actually clear up the situation, like the Liverpool/Chelsea penalty yesterday. The same thing happened here with the important down the line shot from Sabalenka. They might as well have shown a clip of GOT. It would have been as conclusive as these useless replays from every bad angle.

Now Maria had a total meltdown, Tom Hill had to come in to calm her down.

Even the Serena foot fault, they never showed it clearly.

They showed the shot from behind Sabalenka in the live pictures. All they needed to do was replay that in slow motion and you would have gotten a pretty good idea, whether it was in or not.

Also to the person, who says they love a good controversy. The game is more sanitized than an ICU. Heavy fines for nothing offences like racquet breaking and swearing. If Connors and McEnroe played under the current rules, they´d still be paying off their debts to the ATP today.

Not in tennis, I've seen shots which show wrong calls were made or that a player should have challenged... I think that they didn't have a good camera angle of that shot. Sucks for Sakkhari... I think they should have hawkeye on all courts personally to avoid such dramatic situations.

Now in other sports, I think they don't always show the right "picture" or angle to avoid riots or referees/players getting shots when they get home... (football, aka soccer, for instance) :oh:
