Glad the forum is in agreement on something so obvious. 10+ Slams for Elina, probably most coming past the age of 32. Gael will retire soon just to follow her success.

Mladenovic | Kerber | V. Williams | Osaka | Kontaveit
S. Williams | Pliskova | Svitolina | Muguruza | Halep | Wozniacki | Stephens
Vekic | Abanda | Konjuh | Schnyder

Davenport | Pierce

The confidence from winning Wimbledon will do wonders for her confidence.
Wozniacki and Sloane won one each... Therefor, Svitolina can snatch one too. Strange things happen.

With the option 0 included, this poll would have had a lot more voters.

poll makes no sense without the zero option and just wastes everyone's time, which was probably the idea.

This is great for Naomi, Kiki, and Al Nabhani (who should really be contesting club matches against Alexandra Stevenson), so everybody wins!
Mladenovic wins 63 63

You seriously think she’s not gonna win a slam?

Tsitsipas and Sakkari outed in public.

Sadly, it's only 5-9 Slam titles for Elina now that she lost this week.

LOL. She already did win the next biggest thing to a Slam.

I am not a fan of the direction a lot of Maria threads have taken over the last 12 months.
The undertone is very disappointing, aggressive and the comments are sometimes rude to a player just trying to earn a living, playing her hardest and having a good amount of success given her god given, natural talents.
You made the list: NEW President Bouchard, Cibulkova, Mladenovic, Wozniacki, Kerber, Cornet, Watson, Broady.
Please note this is a signature about Tatjana Maria

Just goes to show how things can work out...

Svitolina could have easily been in Halep’s position today vs a badly nervous Serena...

I'm a Elina fan, and you should have put a 0 in there, since that is a possible reality.

Venus Serena JJ Bethanie Vania Naomi
Petra S. Peng S. Zhang Su-Wei Vera Cici
Vesnina Sveta McHale Zarina Qiang Lizette Danielle Dayana Amanda
Elina Min Garbiñe Sachia Luksika Yafan Niculescu Sofia Sloane Franny Crawford Patty Shelby
Kokkinakis Pospisil Coric Nishikori Berdych Huey Shapovalov Sock F.Lopez Murray Tiafoe Dmitrov Monfils Thiem Roanic Tsonga Khachanov Sugita Chung

She wasted a couple of years of development after 2017, but I can see a progression ala Halep next year or the other one. She will be a main contender for Roland Garros for the next 5 years and she can also do well on USO/AO.

I'm guessing you're making that assumption because Halep beat the crap out of Serena and Svitolina beat the crap out of Halep multiple times in the past. And it all checks out until your assumption hits a wall, because you might have forgotten Halep also beat the crap out of Svitolina in the semifinals. Or are we pretending like everyone was badly nervous on Halep's road to that title? Was Buzarnescu really the only one who wanted to win and didn't shit her pants?

But joking aside I do agree with you, she will eventually win a Grand Slam (but it would not have been this, not against Serena, not her first Grand Slam final), she is just too good not to get one. There are a couple things she needs to fix about her game and more importantly about the way she approaches pressure situations (she has serious scars that need fixing, I think you know what I'm talking about). Once that's out of the way (easier said than done, but far from impossible) she will be even more of a danger and if she continues to create opportunities for herself (go deep) she will eventually reap the ultimate reward, lifting a Grand Slam trophy over her head. And once she gets that first the second might not be far off.

How ? Was she close to beat Halep ? Or i missed something.
Shitolina had no business to be even in the 3th round, but somehow got a cakewalk after Gasparyan's injury.

Svitolina had broken the semi final duck, but needs to make a SECOND slam semi final first then we can assess chances. From there one assumes the ball of opportunity opens if it will.
