Nottingham weather forecast

https://www.bbc.com/weather/2641170

Looks terrible from Monday to Wednesday.

Do they have any indoor facility? There's also a men's challenger going on.

Re: Nottingham weather forecast

Yep, I normally go to Nottingham every year but after seeing this weeks forecast I decided not to bother Iíve been before when itís raining and itís no fun at all. There are indoor courts so itís likely the first few rounds will be played on indoor hard.

Judging you based on the players in your sig.

Re: Nottingham weather forecast

Last year all the UK grass events shockingly had wall to wall sunshine....

Not to be this time it seems.

Us Brits have such short memories when it comes to the weather. As soon as 1st June hit, I fully expected wall to wall sunshine and searing heat because thatís what it was like last year. I had completely wiped the other 20-something British summers Iíve lived through from my memory

These events look like a complete disaster and you wonder if they can even finish. Some of the days look like total washouts and the rest look so rain interrupted with showers that you can't imagine more than a handful of matches being finished. I have been to rain-interrupted Birmingham and there was nowhere to go except to sit on the floor of that big cafeteria.

I wish I had gone to Surbiton now!! Maybe Eastbourne/Wimbledon qualies will be my only hope this year, or maybe I will have to book a holiday to Palermo or Bucharest after Wimbledon!! I think it's too late to arrange Majorca and Bastad, Lausanne and Latvia are probably not dependable either! I will be keeping my eyes peeled on the long range weather forecasts either way.

The key advice - never make any concrete plans until as late as possible because the weather will betray you if you don't.

Re: Nottingham weather forecast

I think this year is a lot worse than usual, not simply worse than last year's abnormally sunny warmth.

Thank god Wimbledon has a second roof now.

Doubt there will be any completed matches tomorrow or Tuesday looking at the forecast in Nottingham. Most of the week looks like to be complete wash out.
