i have been telling everyone how arrogant and mean Kerber and her fanbase was all year:shrug::shrug::shrug:

now Kerber's cover has finally been blown for the whole world to see ! and her fanbase's inexplicable defense of her insult showcases their true colors as well ! just admit she was completely wrong you wackos !:wavey: everyone i have seen is appalled by Kerber's behavior and the only people even attempting to defend it are Kerber's ridiculous fanbase and the very few Andreescu haters:tape:

OK I confess that I’ve now boarded the Andreescu band wagon, and I’m willing to make a BOLD PREDICTION. Bianca Andreescu is destined to become the successor to Serena Williams as the most predominant player of her generation. This match seals the deal in my estimation more so than the IW championship match.

Throughout this match I had the impression that Bianca demonstrated a mind set that she was going to win this match as would be expected as her normal due no matter the adversity. In this match her opponent was arguably one of the best players currently on tour. In fact the very first two games of this match both won by Ms Kerber was most illustrative. Despite losing these two games one could sense that Angelique was fortunate to have prevailed.

I can honestly unequivocally state that I sensed Bianca would win the match at the time she was serving at 0-2 in the first set.

what tha lol .. I think we need to calm down a bit .. I'm a big fan now too of bianca but she has a long way to go .. this is going to be a 10+ yr grind .. she has the tools but it always comes down to the mental part .. does she have that fire and determination to see through a long journey of greatness like that .. only a few have it .. remains to be seen .. but it would be awesome if she did it

andreescu seems to be mentally stronger than 95% of the w.t.a.

kerber, like any veteran player doesn't like to be beaten by a young upstart, particulary twice in a week.

what are the odds of bianca doing the indian wells/ miami double. (pretty reasonable i think). certainly she fears nobody.

The thing is, even if you actually thought that Andreesu was immature or bratty during the match, it wouldn't justify bullying her at the net by calling her names.

I mean, I'm in my 30s, and I don't have a particularly high view of teenagers either. Most of them annoy me. So if one of them kicked my butt on a tennis court, that would probably make me even more annoyed. But that wouldn't just me being unprofessional.

The Germans weren't treated very well on Saturday night in Miami. First up was Zverev losing a 3 setter to a guy on his retirement tour (Ferrer) and then Angie unceremoniously sent home in another 3 setter by Andreescu on her rookie-of-the-year tour. :spit: :oh:

Another nice win from Bianca - but it should have been done in straight sets. She was in full control until 6-4 4-2 and then things went off the rails for a bit. But she came back and got it done fairly easily in the 3rd set. :yeah:

Angela has always been very sour at the net when losing to lower-ranked or younger players. She'd never pull this crap with Serena, for example.

A 31 year-old veteran of the tour calling a teenage opponent a "drama queen" at the net should honestly warrant action by the WTA, especially in the era we live in that's much more aware of bullying. I'm hoping Kerber apologizes once her head clears. I'm sure she was just salty and wasn't thinking straight because of how exhausted she was.

I guess it would be more relevant if we picked actions someone else did this year, then. No? Why? Oh right, because it's the same damn person.

Btw, Bianca hasn't made 3 GS draws yet. Also, Kerber reached her first tour final at 22. Where she lost. She had her first title at 24, at Suez of all places. So yeah, if you're gonna compare careers, do so. Don't go comparing stuff like why Zverev doesn't have as many GS titles as Roger or that kind of nonsense.

I agree with you. But it was Bianca fans (or Kerber haters) that came up with comparing Bianca‘s career achievements today with Kerber‘s achievements today, and that’s just ridiculous.
But of course age is the reason for that and Bianca will probably have a more impressive career when one‘ll compare them as soon as both are retired.

why is angie so pressed she's won 3 slams and has a good chance of winning another one this year since she always turns up for them

but on the other hand i'm living for the drama
