You 2 guys talk about 2 different things. But at least you now are more than one. I just hope The Majority will chime in. Seriously do a poll. It's a great way to feel good that a bunch of guys share your opinion.

I'm stating facts. Please don't derail my thread anymore, though. Message me if you would like to continue this discussion.

I kept repeating that Osaka had no chance of winning Melbourne and listing all kinds of reasons such as a difficult draw, her negative attitude on court and the fact that no one had won their 2nd slam right after their 1st in 18 years. I was quite certain Kvitova would win in the final having not dropped a set. I also predicted in early January that she would end her year outside the top 10.

I said after that final that I would never make the mistake of writing Osaka off again. She has won the last 2 Grand Slams, she is #1 in the world and she is the defending champion in Indian Wells. I don't like her, but she is the player to beat.

Ok, but Sloane didn't choke against Halep in those 2018 finals. She was outlasted, as was the trend in many of her three-setters last year.

Sloane was up a set and break in Paris. That qualifies as a choke.

Did you even watch that match? You could feel Sloane running out of gas physically in that second set.

Halep stepped up big time to win it IMO. Calling it a choke is a vast oversimplification.

Re: WWW Indian Wells?

Well, this thread went off the rails.

Anyways, back on topic. I'll stick to the most effective way of picking a winner on the WTA (random number generator ). Number is 5, so Pliskova.

You do realize you're doing the same exact thing, right? At least if you're gonna preach, might as well follow your own gospel, no?

Like please tell me you're not that oblivious to your own toxicity and you're just having a little fun with a couple easy targets. Because I've read plenty of your posts and you don't seem like the usual nutjob roaming this place. And if you in fact don't see it, then I will very much like to help you fix that, if you're willing, of course.

Re: WWW Indian Wells?

^ Why are you randomly bringing Halep into any of this though? Not sure you're helping Naomi's case by constantly putting certain other players down. The only thing you might achieve is turning fanbases against each other. More polarisation is exactly what TF needs, right?
