Re: Active Top 10 players finals conversion percentage

Some conclusions:

Svitolina conversion rate is astounding, but she doesn't have any GS SF, and this is crazy.
Halep gave away at least two finals to players with awful rates (Bencic and Ostapenko).
Kerber is close to a Career GS with under 50%.
Bouchard is awful.

Oh, np. You also forgot one "top10 player" that shall not be named but she would be below Evgenia.

It is counted for Halep also several losses in Fes or Bruxelles. The 3.0 rate is more important, plus also look at Kerber. The stats are nice, but Kerber is known for some good German mentality but in fact she's under 50%. According to the statistics, she wouldn't win 3/4 Grand Slam finals, RIGHT?

Regarding Svitolina, you said it. She's even "slamsemifinaless".

Génie awful, who cares? She missed her career. Awful education I would say. Her parents never said NO.

Well, it's the whole career. Also, for Serena, the latest loses, if we're here.

As for Kerber, i think she's special because she's a late bloomer.

Re: Active Top 10 players finals conversion percentage (Svitolina is leading)

I think this shows Svitolina chokes in the GS'es, and prevails in regular finals because while everyone else raises their games for GS, her game is raised for the regular tourneys.

Her only loses are against Kvitova (#2) and Radwanska (#5). She never played Serena in a final, but she defeated Halep twice.

But she did win them because she peaks for the slam finals and has always brought an A+ mentality to them. So you can try and discredit her achievements all you want but it's not going to work

Her percentage is amazing for a almost 2 decades long career, that's why she's one of the GOATs.

She's at 76,7% in GS finals only, the best in history (Graf is second at 71%m Seles third at 69,2%, from those with at least 5 titles).
