About ITF doubles World Champions

Kim and Ai AREN'T the ITF World Champions

I don't understand it look simply at those facts :

Kim and Ai won 7 titles, Paola and Vivi won 5 titles

C/S vs S/R
2 GS vs 1 GS
1 tier I vs 2 tier I + 1 masters
4 tier II vs 1 tier II

Kim/Ai lead Paola/Vivi 4-2 (head to head)

I already drop a message to the ITF to tell them I wasn't approving their decision, if you could do it as well it would be nice I know we probably won't change the ITF decision, but they have to know we are not aggreeing!

They have gone with the rankings, even though Suarez-Ruano Pascual played more than Kim/Ai and it is that reason they are ahead of them. THe only slam they won was the US with no Williams and Kim/Ai withdrawing. It is dissappointing for Kim/Ai but after they lost LA this was predictable, the ITF was always going to go with the ranks, if Kim and Ai had won LA they would have won the award.

That's really bad! So it's like if Justine failed to reach the SF at the YEC and Kim staying 1st they'd give the award to Kim in singles I think they want to punish Kim for not going to play Fed Cup in Moscow

well possibly they would have given it to Kim - I hadn't thought of that. But that is why they would have done the doubles as they did.

But yes punishing Kim for Moscow could be a incentive I guess

That's a pity I think... It's soooo political inside the ITF

Kim and Ai should have gotten this award. Without any doubt! I don't understand their decision at all
Never thought about the 'not going to Moscow theory', but It might be true.
(If Amélie had won the YEC they would have given it to her prolly cuz neither KIm, Justine nor Serena played the fedcup final )

Too bad for Kim. She deserved the award. Who knows, maybe she'll have it in singles next year

Why are they going with the rankings now? A few years ago, Lindsay was number one without winning any grand slam but they gave the award to Jennifer because she won 2 grand slams.
There is certainly something not very correct here...
