Thumbs up Kim receives prestiguous Royal Honour

I don't think I've seen this news reported here:

Kim has been honoured by Belgian king Albert II with the prestigous honour of the Order of the Crown. Kim receives the 'Grand Cross in the Order of the Crown' = in Dutch 'het Grootkruis in de Kroonorde', in French:'Grand Croix Ordre de la Couronne'.

The honour is bestowed upon Kim within a number of royal honours to several people at the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Albert as King of the Belgians.

This particular honour is really something valuable. The Order dates from 1897 and is used to honour important achievements in the field of the arts and science, in business, industry or for a service to the nation.
btw Justine got the same honour as Kim.

It was on her site too!!!

Kim will receive royal award 30-07-2003

The exceptional performances of both Kim Clijsters and Justine Henin-Hardenne haven't been unnoticed by the Belgian Royals. The two tennis players will receive the Grand Cross in the Crown Order, the highest award given by Laken, the Royal Palace.
