I don't like that draw at all. On paper a qualifier is nice BUT that player wil have had to win 3 matches in quallies and round, 1 it will be Kim's first match in Warsaw. Remember Perebynis last year. This year is slightly different as she played Fed Cup but she took a break following that and would have lost momentum from the matches she played. She showed rustiness against Dementieva but because of having played a match she played better against Kirilenko on day 2. If Kim gets by the qualifier she has Schiavone who had a very good Fed Cup & imo is very good on clay. Then Dementieva who Kim just lost to but who has a tough draw herself with Hantuchova and Msykina but then I'd probably prefer that draw for Kim But if Kim gets to the SF with Dementieva (assuming she gets there herself) I'd expect a much better match from Kim than in Fed Cup simply because she will have had several clay matches under her belt and always starts the clay season slowly.

But first things frist, round 2

Round 2 is the first one. She has a bye in round 1. So that is what I meant first things first - round 2 as it will be her first match

I checked out the website on your recommendation and was surprised to find so many photos of Kim that I had never seen before. Nice surprise

that's what I meant, you were talking bout matches after that one,
I just say "let her play her first match (round 2) first"

Okay, sorry but then I don't get it because you & I are saying exactly the same things. I talked about potential future matches BUT then said first things first round 2 meaning that it is all irrelevant unless she wins her first one. So I ended by saying that all that matters is her first match & that is what you quoted .
