Belgian, whose hair is a rapeseed field bloomed wildly each spring.
Whose scalp is winter's armistice.

Belgian, whose eyes are cradles of gold.
Whose mother is a gymnast, father a lion.

Belgian, whose arm hair is a Tuvan poem
Stuck in my throat.

Belgian, whose cheeks are next
door's perennials.
Whose shoulders are pistons from Detroit.

Belgian, whose legs are a horse's whip
Whose breeding is blue grass
And whose lips are a julep.
