Proximus Diamond Games, Antwerp, Feb 06

This is very previous of me, but there is method in my madness!

Just to generally report that today tickets have been booked for a very select group of CCLers to attend the PDG in Feb. Even though I live just about the furthest away from that fair place, in sheepie infested Wales, I got landed with the job of ringing up for tickets.

I duly did so this morning and have to say that the lady I spoke to in the box office was VERY nice and spoke lovely English, better than mine, as ever

In case anyone is thinking of going, there are still plenty of category 1 tickets left for the quarters and semis (we are dangerously near the front for those in rows 5 and 4 respectively ), but there are NO category 1 tickets left for the final. They are all sold out already.

So I got category 2 tickets for our crowd, which is better than nothing.

Bedankt!

Greetz!

Slaapwel!

Fifi

Thanks a million, Fi. Too bad we've got no Category 1 tickets for the final but we'll be on an excellent spot for the quarters and the semis. Great!

Yes, bring waterproofs - for the quarters and semis we will be close enough to get soaked in players' sweat, yuk

Oh and its a week now since I booked the tickets and still no confirmatory email from those very helpful people in Antwerp (they said there would be one). I phoned twice on Monday, cos I realised I hadnt given my full address the first time, so don't really want to phone again, they might think I'm odd (if they dont already that is )

Should I leave it as it is or ring again and check that we actually have the tickets? Maybe I'll wait for my next credit card statement and ring if the ticket payment isn't on there?

Normally I find booking tickets for things pretty straightforward, but doing it on behalf of many great and good posters in here has made me a tad paranoid. I mean, youre all gonna kill me if these tickets dont materialise, arent you?

And some of you know where I live

no no fifi, kill you? we'ld have to torture you first , send you with fufu in the attic for about a year, and then with Lynx2 and then maybe if you behave Kum Clujsters who could use you as a ballwoman ... then we would kill you

Don't be paranoied, if it was me yes I would call again , even if there were tickets for me only so i would go ahead

hey fi, don't give up, they can think whatever they want, while ordering tickets for filderstadt i was such a pain in the ass, coz i wanted a place next to the entrance and vip lounge, so...finally they found one for me, even though at first they claimed these were sold out ages ago so call them as often as you wish

No, we didnt want to be in the same block as them, Yas!

We wanted to be in the block OPPOSITE them, so we could pull faces/make rude hand gestures at them, throw things (including dwarves!) at them, have an "our flag is bigger and better than yours competition", indulge in other kinds of childish mob behaviour and generally get on each others' nerves.

But now it won't be working out that way because we are in the same block as them (for the quarters and semis). We're in the posh seats at the front though and that Forum rabble are likely to be at the back.
