Tennis game.

There used to be a thread with games started by Fifi, but I can't find it anymore... .

I found this amusing tennis game - maybe everyone knows about it already, but I've never seen a link to it, so here it is:

http://www.wimbledonmovie.com/game/tennis.swf

It takes some practice, but it's very playable. I reached the "pro" level last weekend, and have already bageled my opponent a few times too .

Thanks Lynx. Haven't had time to look at this so far, but intend to have a go tonight (old arthritic hands permitting of course ).

I'll probably be crap at it too, Nicky!

- I said it takes some practice!... But once you get the hang of it I think it's fun. (But then - I do like video games )

Although the players are men, obviously, I've been imagining my oponents being (respectively) Venus and Maria and Justine. (Me being Kim, of course .)

I've won against all three of them, but I needed tie-breaks against Venus. (It says "Game, set, match" after only 1 set - but I just start a new game and pretend it's the second set, etc)

I bageled Justine though Twice.

Serving was the only thing I COULD do on Lynx's game! Very relatively speaking I was Andy Roddick. Maybe we could team up for dubs!

omg, that game!!!!! i was like some of you i think, could serve pretty well, but do you think i could hit many groundies??! so bloody annoying!!

Kim Clijsters!

"I didn't play my best tennis, not even close, but I still felt like I could win out there and as long as I have that feeling, as long as it doesn't get worse I'll fight until I'm done"

Your opponent is not the person on the other side of the net, or the team on the other end of the field, or even the bar you must high-jump. Your opponent is yourself - your negative internal waves, your level of determination.
