has anyone noticed?

has anyone noticed that eversince kim and lleyton broke up she has been playing so much better and winning so many tournaments and that she is looks more mature and beautiful. He has done not so good , he has done ok in the australian open and the us open but between not much has happend , he was ditched by nike and people don't like him at all if you look at the articles in the american press. It is like the tom cruise and nicole kidman thing, when they split up nicole got more beautiful and her career got better and better . tom cruise got more weirder and weirder

I think the reason behind Kim's success is that without Lleyton, she now only has her career to concentrate on, meaning that she is a lot more focused. She has no distractions on the circuit. However, lleyton is obviously missing his hitting partner!! So, as Kim's fan, we should support this break up as it has done a hell of a lot of good for Kim, especially now she is happy with Brian!

I don't think it was about Lleyton per say, she was in love with him, but I think it was about being independant and getting to know herself. Sometimes when you are in a relationship, esp when you are young, you loose sight of who you are.

Kim does look fantastic, she looks positevely radiant.

Well, in 2003 she was still with Lleyton and that was a very good year for her career as well. So I don't think it has anything to do with the break-up, I think Kim's just more mature now at 22 than at 20, seems a normal evolution to me.

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!

She did have a good year then Hagar, but I think a lot of events including the break up with Lleyton helped her in that maturing and getting to know herself process...

They both seem happier & one could say that Lleyton is playing more mature with less dummy spits!

We will miss you Kim!.

Best of Luck in 2007 to: Kim & Bryan, Lleyton, Alicia, Todd, Sam, Chris, Casey, Wayne, Kirsten & all the other Aussies & injured players.
