"Clijstered"

Yes folks, we have a new word for the English language:

"CLIJSTERED"

Definition: This is where Kimmy drags you round behind her for ages, charming your arse off, but letting you down in those grand slam finals. However, she's so charming and alluring that you can't let go of her. But then she lets you down to the point where you think to yourself "sod this, this is too much like hard work, its not good for my health, I'm gonna let go and find another". By now, you're hanging on by your fingernail tips, about to let go. Then, Kimmy goes and wins the bloody grand slam and she has you captivated again, sitting in the palm of her hand, a fan for ever!

I therefore suggest to you that we are all well and truly "Clijstered"!

But as I'm also well and truly "knackered", so I'm off 2 bed!

Nighty night!

Where do you come up with this stuff, Fi? Brilliant as usual

Are you also Clijstered, when you feel Kim hasn't ever really let you down, because you knew her time would come?

| Marat Safin | Lleyton Hewitt | Olivier Rochus |
| Murray | Tipsarevic | Mahut | Srichaphan || Gulbis|

you know what now we've waited soo long for that GS but I think it's a great thing we did wait (even if the past few finals we would have disagreed with this ). Kim won it because she deserved it, she was the best on HC this year, she was the strongest physically and mentally and not only won all 7 matches but did hold this trophy after putting aside top players such as Venus, Maria and Mary Pierce. And noone can say she had an easy ride and her winning it is a fluke...

"Clijstered" sounds in any case a lot better than "Henned" or "Hardenned".

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!
26.03.2009: More Kim years to come!
