CCL's CROSSWORD PUZZLES 1 to 4 (latest one: Sep. 9th 2005)

OK, I don't know if there are people here who like crossword puzzles... but I like making them, and suddenly I thought: eh! why don't I make one for the CCL? 't Wasn't easy (in English)... but I hope some of you will enjoy it. If there are no takers, I won't insist, lol - but if several of you do like 'm, I'll try to make others. (Or maybe some of you can make some too?)

If people ask for it, I might post the answers in another attachment after a few days.
But with every new puzzle, I WILL post an attachment with the anwers of the previous one.

Enjoy!

(The downloadable .doc version of the first puzzle is moved to post #2)

I'd appreciate some honest feedback: too easy? too difficult? Cause I had NO idea

Will you post or PM the answers somehow?

Wow Lynx, are there no end to your talents?

Is there a prize for the winner? Like an exclusive Kim wavy avatar maybe?

I've just shoved a copy of this under the attic door for Fufu, she LOVES struggling with a crossword during her quieter moments

Patiently waiting to join the silver surfers

Kim Clijsters!

Your opponent is not the person on the other side of the net, or the team on the other end of the field, or even the bar you must high-jump. Your opponent is yourself - your negative internal waves, your level of determination.

Okay, finished it. The only one I can't find is 1.vertical "ridge". I just miss one letter, and still don't have a clue. Probably something very simple I just don't see

*edit* Just found it! Was indeed simple

Thanks Mark, it was fun - and it doesn't have to be much more difficult, it's hard enough trying this in a foreign language.
