Yes! Baa! Yes! Baa! Yes! Baa!: Its The Sheep Appreciation Thread!!!!!

Aw c'mon, you knew it had to happen sometime soon!

And it is incumbent upon me as the resident Welsh person and original sheep lover (sorry Mon and Timray, but I was appreciating sheep when you two were just a twinkle in your mothers's eyes) to start this thing off.

First up, you are gonna love this folks, here is a link to the "Kiwi Sheep Quiz" site, where you can take a little test to find out how much like a sheep you really are!!

Have fun!!

Oh and by the way, any talk about Kim Clijsters in here is completely taboo and off topic and will be severely reprimanded.

You have been warned.

Thank you.

Ornamental Sheep Stolen, Taken On Holiday

Two ornamental sheep stolen from a garden have been returned three years later - after being taken on a tour of India.

The lifesize models made of plywood and woollen fleeces disappeared in April 2003. But owner Jessie Lee found them on her doorstep this week at Holt, Norfolk, along with an envelope, saying "Larry & Sean's Holiday Photos".

The 16 snaps showed the sheep at tourist sights like the Taj Mahal all over India. Other pictures showed them relaxing on a beach in Goa with cocktails at sunset, meeting camels in Rajasthan and visiting historic monuments in Karnataka. - The Sun

Yay!!! I have a 5/6 score. Look at me being woolly

But I couldn't have done it alone, without my loyal companion Kimmy C
She's the best stuffed animal sheepie there is.

Myfanwy: our first sheep heroine!!

Sheep's daring escape
A sheep has been spared the slaughterhouse after a daring James Bond-style escape from a Welsh farm.

Myfanwy the ewe leapt into a lake and swam nearly 100ft to a small island where she survived on daffodils.

She made her bid for freedom as her owner tried to round her up to take her to market and on to an abbatoir.

Myfanwy spent six weeks on the island before farmer Philip Robinson, from Nannerch near Mold, managed to bring her back.

He has now decided to adopt her as the farm pet, reports the BBC.

Mr Robinson said: "I left her for six weeks because we were busy with lambing and I took a boat over the island.

"When I tried to reach her, it was difficult... she ended up trying to swim back again."

Sheepie Queen Fifi, with all her CCL sheepies lying at her feet.

Who doesn't love Diddle and sheepie

Is there a barber shop around!!!

It's Mister Sheep puppet.

And there is bear again, and what is he doing with poor sheepie

I loved this thing as a child
