Who's going to Hasselt?

No, I don't mean shopping this Saturday, I mean for the Gaz de France Stars in October!

I could come to this, on the Friday Saturday and Sunday but want to know which of my virtual maties is going too, before deciding (also there are only "twist your neck" type seats left for the interesting end of the week, I've just checked the website).

Who knows, if I come I might be in time for Kim's coffee morning for the "old wrinklies" - maybe someone can find out quite how old I have to be to go.

If you're going and don't want to shout it out to me in here, send me a PM!

Ta

Fifi

Fi, I plan to go, if I am not travelling for my work that week.

BTW, they've got some excellent local liquor in Hasselt.

I don't know if I am going there this year. Actually my bestfriend has invited to me to go to the Luxembourg tournament if Kim plays there. Although I can sleep at his place, I don't see myself going to Luxembourg and then going to Hasselt (or the other way around, I don't know when those tournaments take place)

I'm having doubts about going, since I don't know the exact holiday from school in that month, so if I don't have time off, the only days I could go would be on Saturday and Sunday. But it's quite near my home, so I'm thinking, why not?

How long are you planning to leave it before booking tickets? I've checked the site and looks like there's only marginal seats left (or are all the best seats still available but not for sale to foreigners like me! ).

I so would like to fi, but I'll have to wait a bit until I know bit more what's happening with thesis and jobs. But if I'm in France or the uk then, I'm up for it a bit too early to organise for me

I already reserved good places for Friday, Saturday and Sunday

You can get better places if you book them by phone than by the Internet

I will also go to Kim's first match

Ha ha! So that's the secret. I'll have to start practising my Dutch then, or will the box office people be as linguistically gifted as you and speak to me in English?

Don't worry Fiona!! Almost everybody in the audience will be a Kim fan, so I don't think you have to worry about making friends without someone in the audience. Since Kim is such a nice personality, I'm sure all her fans must be too

Now to answer your question ... I don't know if I'm gonna go to the tournament. Like for yasmine, it's a little bit to early to know for me. I hope I'm gonna be able to go, but I'm not sure just yet. I think I can only decide that week -> so I hope there will be some tickets left, that I can buy at the Ethiasarena itself ...

But if you come to Hasselt, remember to taste the famous Hasselt liquor => jenever!! Good stuff (esp. the ones with the fruity taste and the 'cactus jenever'). Not that I drink them a lot, but every now and then ...

I'm waiting for the date of a mission for work in September. Should know something by 20 June.
