The highs & lows with Kim.

I was just thinking about what a trip it has been lately as a Kim fan.
The last year was a big low for Kim, then she has her comeback and wins 2 tournaments in a row. Big high for her and her fans.
Then the first clay tournament, she seems to be having difficulties with her schoulder. Fans are afraid it's a injury.... false alarm thankfully.
Then next tournament, Berlin (where Kim had to quite last year against Sprem, because of her wrist), and she gets a knee/muscle injury. Another low for her and us as fans.

I do hope that when Kim's gets back, hopefully before the French open, she will stabilize herself and her play, because otherwise people will start having blood pressure problems. Although some new highs I wouldn't mind.

Seriously, whenever she played a GS final, I had to work. And you know, I could take a day off on that particular day, but I just either forgot it or just didn't feel like it. And just sit at work and go crazy with nerves. I would record the match, get home, got too curious, switched on the TV, read the result and then usually erased the match from my tape (:P), except the Aussie Open, really. So for this year, I decided to take a day off on the women's final day at RG and Wimbledon. US Open and also the Aussie Open I can watch during the night And if she reaches one of those, I know it's gonna be worth it, that day off

Last year sucked and this year has been good up until now, and I'm still confident. Like I mentiones somewhere before, became a fan after the RG final, loved her attitude and her play during the Aussie Open of 2002, soo enjoyed RG 2003, had to play tennis during her semi-final against Venus during Wimbledon and yep, brought bad luck, saw some good tennis at the US Open of 2003, went crazy with excitement during the 2004 Aussie Open, screamed when she won in Antwerp, but felt bad about the rest of 2004. Almost cried and went crazy when she won IW and Miami. Too bad about the injury now, but what I'm saying is: I enjoy watching her play, I have enjoyed watching her play and I will continu to enjoy watching her play cause in my eyes she's my #1

OK, Amen

Kimmy's a Gemini. It's quite typical of her zodiac sign these ups and downs, highs and lows. It's been a rollercoaster.

Gemini is symbolized by the Twins. You're flexible, flirty and inventive. Intelligent to the extreme, your idea of a good time is a lively conversation -- or better yet, a friendly debate. Thanks to the Twins' influence, you sometimes feel split in two directions and don't know what to do!

Gemini Fitness Profile
The flexible Twins do their best to be in two places at once, all the time. Always in motion, Gemini will get bored quickly with anything that doesn't move fast enough. As a Gemini, you're versatile and want to try absolutely everything -- in short spurts. Gemini is a team player and likes large groups, yet is mostly noncompetitive and likely gets into sports and fitness activities just for fun. Since Gemini rules the arms, hands, shoulders and lungs, swimming is an excellent way to stay in shape. You may enjoy quick, exciting sports that can be played in doubles, like table tennis and bobsledding. The flexible Twins may also excel in gymnastics. Mental fitness is also important; after a day of running around, it's great to relax with a game of Trivial Pursuit.

Gemini and Romance
Describing the Twins as mercurial is right on the money, since Gemini is ruled by the Planet Mercury. Moving, restless, seeking, learning -- Gemini is constant motion, a torrent of wind which is in keeping with this sign's element of Air. The Twins are highly intellectual and won't hesitate to play mind games with a lover, mere child's play to them. They are also great communicators, so get ready to hear everything from pithy remarks to impassioned pleas. Inventive, quick-witted and fun, the Twins will jump around from one lover to the next until they find one who is almost as smart as they are and able to keep up in this high-spirited race. The reward for those who can lasso a Gemini is a free-spirited lover who shines at parties but is also a devil in the bedroom. Many Geminis are also ambidextrous. Ooh.

Gemini Career Profile

What you have in Gemini is The Great Communicator and The Great Facilitator all rolled into one -- but wait, they're two. Twins, right? Where Gemini is concerned, that means that they can talk twice as fast, twice as much and come up with enough new (and good) ideas to be considered the idea factory at any firm. Possessed of a restless and quick mind, the Twins are constantly moving from one project to the next, so an aide de camp is a good idea -- if they can keep up!

Geminis work well as an intermediary or go-between, since they love to talk. If someone needs access, a Gemini is bound to provide it, as contacts are their stock in trade. The context of these contacts is probably a fast-paced, social whirl where they are being continuously challenged and stimulated. If things get dull, Gemini will simply find a new field in which to play. The Twins are also curious to a fault, something which can get them into trouble every now and again (no mincing words for these folks!).

Leading a staff meeting is not a goal for the Twins, but providing input certainly is. Teaching colleagues is always fun, as is sharing the wealth of information in their heads and creating harmony all around. When wanderlust creeps into Gemini's life, it can generally be relieved with a quick business trip or a few days of play. Back at the ranch, the Twins would be well served by a diligent assistant to keep tabs on their workaday world and be sure they're getting things done.

The Gemini office is likely to be filled with multiple phones, a computer or two, fax machines, a TV -- anything that will aid communication. A packed bag is in the corner, just in case. Their car of choice is a zippy little convertible with a cell phone or two, the perfect way to plan a lunch date at the most happening bistro in town.

Geminis are well suited as explorers, writers, merchants, translators, publicists -- even the next Oprah!

Gemini Friendship Profile
The social butterfly of the Zodiac has lots of friends. In fact, the Twins should have twice as many as any other Sign. One side of a Gemini will want to go hang-gliding and run around outside, while the other is keen on sitting cozily at home and playing a board game. Their friends need to be as diverse as they are in order to keep up, or they just need to know when to let Gemini go free. The Twins can bond well with lots of different kinds of groups. If they get bored with one set of people, they always have a few more groups that will be more interesting -- for awhile. Gemini is a sociable creature who enjoys having friends. If you can match their pace and mercurial temperament, you and your friend will have a blast. The best way to develop a bond with a Gemini is to make an intellectual connection. Interested in exploring anything at all? Take along your Gemini pal and enjoy the new perspective they give to even the most ordinary situations. If you can match wits with this one, they'll respect your intellect and work to develop this worthwhile friendship.

Best friend Bets: Aries, Leo

This really explains Kim aversion to the clay. See, it's not that Kim can't win a GS on clay. It's because it bores her into a lull.

But that article is right on the money.
