Isn't it a little bit stupid to ditch Lleyton just because he isn't Kim's boyfriend anymore?

As I wrote in LLL, I am a huge fan of both of them, a bigger fan than ever
and all the pictures of Lleyton shirtless have nothing to do with that of course

I still like his game.. but I don't know if before I was blind or if it was Kim who had a good influence on him but I simply don't like when he does that :

Axel! he already did that a couple of times before, I think, but I have to agree, it's not my favourite gesture either!

as for me still being a fan of Lleyton, of course! love his spirit on court, his game...

I had already heard of him before he and Kim were dating, but only started following his results back in 2000 when they did start dating, but now they aren't anymore (yes it's getting complicated ) I still like him, and I'm still nervous to find out his results when I get up and now he played a match

COME ON KIM!

Thanks for everything Kim!!!

Yes, I am still a fan.
Though I don't like all this posing with Bec.

It's true that his gestures are a bit over the top but they make me really laugh. On top of that, they are really contagious.
Sometimes when I achieve something at work, I hardly can refrain from doing a lawnmower.

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!
26.03.2009: More Kim years to come!

Oh boy, where do I start (and must say I'm surprised but not necessarily disappointed to see a more "controversial" thread like this in the normally calm waters of CCL ).

But, now that I have been given the opportunity, I can finally come out and say:

NO I AM NO LONGER A FAN OF LLEYTON, AND NEVER REALLY WAS!!! (phew what a relief).

I'd come across him before I'd even heard of Kim Clijsters, but never took to him. When I became a Kim fan I did my very best to grow to like him, because I thought he must have some good qualities if Kimmy was with him (and I daresay he has, but I will never get to see them, so can only guess what they might be).

I admit I went in LLL a bit and said some nice things about him, but that was all part of my process of trying to get to like him (in much the same way that you kid yourself that you like all those horrible vegetables that your mother makes you eat when you are little ).

But it was always a struggle for me and somehow I never thought Kim and Lleyton would last (although I can't say that I take any pride in the fact of being proved right, because I know how awfully painful it is when a long term relationship ends).

So I'm totally with Bram on this one: tolerated him when he was Kim's lover, but now he leaves me cold and I find him an irritating, obnoxious, whining mummy's boy with skinny legs (yuk!).

Now I can go back to devoting all my spare time to supporting Nalbandian and Grosjean.

Sorry Lleyki fans, that's just the way I feel.

Patiently waiting to join the silver surfers

I never saw he did that before... Well I don't enjoy men's tennis that much... so I only look when it's the Belgians or my two top faves : Marat and Jan-Michael

still am

I was and am a fan of him because of his game, not because he was with Kim (although that was a plus).

Of course, since he's now wearing no sleeve. J/k, I like him because of his games, and he's now improved a lot, so I wanna see if he an get out Federer's shadow.
