The Kimmy Grand Slam Prayer!!

God, its miserable in here. C'mon you lot, cheer up a bit!!

Here's a new little prayer we can say to help Kim on her way:

Our Kimmy, who art at the doctors’
Hallowed is their fame
But their time is come
To get your wrist done
So the backhand can be like heaven
Give us this day a positive report
And forgive us for doubting
As we forgive you for getting injured for the second bloody time!
And lead us not into watching old videos
But deliver us some tennis
For thine is the queendom (really, honest, it is!)
The power and the glory (I’m telling you, it’s a cert!)
So never say never

Your Fans

Ta very much and, hey, I think this one worked because I wrote it this morning BEFORE we got the more positive news from the docs. God is obviously a Kim fan too

Bump! Here's a new version of the old Kimmy Get Well Prayer.

Get down on your knees, CCLers!!

THE KIMMY COMEBACK PRAYER:

Our Kimmy, who art in Antwerp
Hallowed is its beer
Your time is come
Now your wrist is done
And the backhand will be like heaven
Give us this day our Belgian chocolates
And forgive us if we doubted
As we forgave you for getting injured a second (or is it third?) bloody time!
And lead us not into the many bars of Antwerp to drown our sorrows in the 461 or so varieties of Belgian Beer
But deliver us some (actually, lots) of tennis
For thine is the queendom (really, honest, it is!)
The power and the glory (I’m telling you, it’s a cert!)
So never say never

Once again, thanks for sharing your comedic genius. I think Kim would get a kick out of this prayer as she seems to have a good sense of humor.

Fi, it's time you start a career as a stand-up comedian.

2000-2007: My "Kim years". My best years as a tennis fan. A few bitter losses but a lot of great matches and great wins. Thank you, Kim Clijsters!
26.03.2009: More Kim years to come!

I'm really late with this discovery, I know, but I just saw this thread and I had to comment. And besides that, after today, maybe this thread will come in handy again. But on with the praising....

Amazingly done, Fi!!!! Or as you UK people say: Bloody Hell, Thats Fantastic. ( I know I read to many Harry Potter, sorry)

I upgrade you to my Auntie Hero.

Sleep now, byebye

Ok, here it is. Not that great, but its been a long week and I've just done this in 10 minutes (just back from the rugby, but we lost so I dont want to talk about it!)

"CCLers get out those prayer mats please!

And get yourselves down on your knees.

Clasp your hands together in an attitude of prayer

So we can help Kimmie of the beautiful hair

Oh hear us Awesome Kimmy please

In CCL we’re on our knees

To pray for you at the US Open

Because we cant rely on hoping!

We’re grovelling low down on the floor

Now that we’ve seen your shitty draw

Why did they put you in that quarter

Will you be the lamb who’s off to the slaughter?

So here’s our little Kimmy prayer

If we all say it we’ll get you there

To that elusive first grand slam

And after that we don’t give a damn

So hands together, let us pray

And with one big CCL voice say:"

"Our Kimmie who art in retirement mode all of a sudden

Hallowed, straightened and possibly highlighted is thy hair

Even more hallowed by some is thy wiggling bum

Kimmy, your time has come

To wiggle that bum like crazy and get the job done

In Flushing Meadow, as it is heaven

Give us this fortnight our grand slam bread

And forgive us our desperation

As we forgive you for retiring in 2007 (or possibly Antwerp 2008)

And lead us not into frustration

But deliver us a bloody grand slam, just once, please!!

For thine is the American hardcourt season, the power and the double prize money

So the beers are on you when you win

Ah men! (yes they are mostly a pain in the arse, but we can’t live without them and if we're honest we wouldn't want to either)"

Patiently waiting to join the silver surfers
