Lightbulb CCL support for Kim - booklet June 04

As Kim will be out for such a long time, I think it might be good that her fans support her.

So...

If you as a fan have a message for Kim, please post it here in THIS thread, don't forget to add your name and location (like "Ann C, London" or put f.i. "anon., USA" or "anon., Perth"... to give Kim at least an idea of where you're living)

I'll wrap it up, make a nice document of it and will take care that Kim receives our CCL messages.

To make sure your message will be included, post it here no later than Thursday before 8 PM (CET) please!

Please write something nice in English or Dutch!

Thanks in advance!

Your mod,

Ingrid

(note: I'll do the booklet in Word format, so if Loungers like to get a copy, you can mail me for one then.)

Teresa Laranjeiro, Portugal:

Hi!
I'm a recent tennis from a country where this isn't a mediatic sport, but I've already noticed your absence from the courts. After all, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been up till 5am just to watch the Australian Open final!

I wish you had better news on your birthday, but I'm sure you'll recover in no-time! In the meantime I'll wait for your return to tennis, and for your next Grand-Slam.

Until then have lots of fun and enjoy your downtime (as Belgians always do! )

Take care!
Teresa

Dear Kim,

Best of luck with your wrist, I hope you get well soon. You are a fantastic tennis player and an even better person, you deserve true happiness. Can't wait to see you on court again, the tour just isn't the same without your smile! But take as long as you need to recover 100% because all your fans will wait as long as needed, we are all thinking of you. Remember the world awaits in 2005!

I also hope you had a great 21st and all your dreams come true. Happy Birthday.

Good Luck & Best wishes

Naomi (Gold Coast, Australia)

Dear Kim,
Me and all your fans miss you on the tour. But we all hope you take the time you need to recover properly as taking care of your health is more important than anything else! Thanks to very nice people I had the opportunity to watch your love match in Bree. It was fantastic to see you and Lleyton so relaxed and with such a smile on your faces...
I wish you all the best for your recovery

Hi!
I’m a huge fan of you from Indonesia. It’s near Australia, so do you ever visit my country?
I was very sad you have to have a surgery. But, you are a strong girl. You can pass this bad thing very well. I believe it! And, there were a lot of things you couldn’t do because you were so busy with tennis matches, but now you can do it! You can give Lleyton more support. Surgery is very bad thing, but it doesn’t end everything. And, I believe you will win a Grand Slam after it because you will have a stronger body after you rest now. You can beat everybody, Kim!

Get better soon, Kim

Ingrid, how about invite Kim to come to this forum?
She can read creations about her here (convos, limericks, etc).
And, if she becomes a member, she can talk with us via this forum.
I think my idea is crazy, but I think it will so nice if it happens.

Dear Kim,

I just want to wish you all the best for the future and your recovery from your wrist injury. I can not wait for you to be 100% fit, however long that takes, and I can not wait to see you back out on the court and looking forward to hopefully watching you live at the hopman cup next year (hint hint).
I also want to wish you all the luck with you marriage and life with Lleyton.

Good luck for everything you have and will achieve.

Dear Kim,

I really will miss you a lot this year. I live in Hong Kong and there are not a lot of tennis on tv going around here except for grand slams. It is dissapointing that you will have to have this surgery on your wrist, but I have faith that you will have a speedy recovery! I believe that you will get through this, and come back as strong as ever! All your fans believe it, and you should too!

With the technology nowadays I was able to watch the Love Match! It was just amazing and I loved it! Thanks so much! You really made me smile, even though I stayed up till 3am to follow the livescores of the match!

Meanwhile I hope you'd enjoy all the lovely off-court things, such as shopping! Or just supporting Lleyton! And don't stop smiling!

Everything will get better eventually and your fans are always here to support you! I really hope you'll get well soon.

Cheers,
K.C. Australia

Dear Kim,

I’m from Hong Kong, which is at the south-east part of Asia.
I really miss you. Tennis is never the same without you. I can only watch you play when there is a grand slam tournament. I always get up at midnight to watch you matches.
I know that this year is not so favorable. You are going to have a surgery. It’s very distressing but I believe you will recover fast enough and be 100% fit. And then you will win loads of tournaments!
I wish you get well as soon as possible and live a happy life with Lleyton.
