when did they first meet? hm, difficult question, they both have spread so many different story's about how they met, when and how they got together... that nobody's really sure about how it really went... they always seem to have a different answer to that question
but I'll try, here we go:
the story I heard the most is that Kim's sister Elke wanted an autograph from Lleyton, but she was to shy to ask him, so Kim had to go and ask him. She did ask his autograph at the Australian Open 2000, and they started talking and stuff, and Kim asked Lleyton if he wanted to play mixed doubles with her, but Lleyton already promised his sister Jaslyn that he would play with her.
Some time later(thing it was still during that Aussie Open), Lleyton was invited at a party at Pat Rafter's house. And he asked Kim to go with him. She immediately said yes, but actually she didn't realize Lleyton was asking her out on a date, Kim was a fan of Pat Rafter (she had his poster in her room) and the story goes that she was only thinking about meeting Pat Rafter
but she went to the party with Lleyts and then saw him again at the tournament in Miami, and somewhere in that days they got together. Then they played doubles together at Roland Garros, they played the final together at Wimbledon, crossed the whole world to see each other, to cheer for the other one at important tournaments, after the season Kim always goes to Australia with Lleyton to rest a bit and prepare for the new season etc...
And they still live very happy together (well, that's what I suppose
and on the 24th of December 2003 Lleyton proposed to Kim during a romantic diner in Sydney Harbour, he gave her a wonderful ring and earrings, and atm they're getting everything ready for their wedding (well Kim is
) that, according to Kim, will take place this year!!!!
well, there are probably heaps of people who can add more gooberish stuff to my story (yes, it's you I'm talking about Angele, Mandy, Ingrid and co
so, it's your turn now...
