Belgium is a very small, but very complicated country, lol. I'll try to be clear and concise.

There are about 10 million Belgians.
  • Roughly 60 % of those live in the north of the country, in Flanders (like I do, and ans, and nicky, and Bram...). We speak Flemish, which is basically the same as Dutch. Dutch is spoken also in the Netherlands - the country at the north of Belgium.
  • About 40 % of live in the south, in Wallonia (like Come-on-Kim does, and Sanstamtam...) They speak French, basically the same as what they speak in France - which is the country at the south of Belgium. (They have a dialect of their own, Walloon, which is very difficult to understand, lol)
  • a small minority (less than 1 %), living in the south-east of the country, speaks German. This region was once part of Germany, but became part of Belgium after World War I (1914-1918): Germany lost the war, and this was kind of a "punishment" for attacking Belgium.

Belgium as an independent country doesn't exist all that long - only since 1830. Most of our history we were part of other countries (France, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands... you name it, we were it).

Only a bit mad . If I was really mad, I would do

But you see: this is a poll to see where all the Kim fans are from - the people who often post in the Classy Clijsters Lounge . If others are going to participate, the poll won't show us anything.

There have been enough polls in Non Tennis asking where people came from. That's interesting too; THIS one, however, is not for the whole of WTAworld, only for the CCL.

You would be welcome to participate... if you were a Kim-fan. Are you? Of the 263 posts you made the previous one was your very first in the CCL!

So why did you vote?
