Good comments by other players on Kim

I took this idea from "Justine Time". I thought it was a cool and nice idea I hope they won't mind for me copying the idea

So I'll begin here..

I am reading "Tennis +", an additionnal magazine to the French "Tennis Magazine".

Inside they ask questions to 2 players every two months (a woman and a man)

And to the question : "which female player do you admire the most?" both Emilie Loit and Martin Verkeck answered "Kim Clijsters"

Sweet as Belgian Chocolate, Bubbly as Champagne

"When you do your best, it's always good enough" - Kim Clijsters

"No matter what happens, you have to try to stay positive, bad things can happen, but if you try to stay positive, something positive will come out of it…I believe that everything happens for a reason" - Kim Clijsters

"Goed is de ergste vijand van zeer goed" - Pascal Smet

"Als je iemand idealiseert, verlies je het contact met de werkelijkheid"

"Ca s’apprend par la souffrance, ça s’apprend par les déceptions, ça s’apprend par la densité du mal que ça te fait, plus ça te fait mal et plus ça te fait grandir. Y a des moments où tu te dis je ne vais pas le supporter, ça, ça fait trop mal, et pourtant tu passes au travers."

hm...here's some quotes i found

Source: AFP, Feb 7, 2003

Hingis says no-one can currently match the Williams sisters Venus and Serena.

"The only one is Kim Clijsters. She has the strength and the talent," she said when asked what she felt when Serena Williams won her fourth successive Grand Slam tournament at Melbourne last month.

Ace Freely

The lovely persona that Kim Clijsters Portrays to the media is not an act. The Belgian ace is also highly thought of in the women's locker rooms.

Russian Anastasia Myskina, who rates herself as a nice person off the court, says she just can't compete witht the sweet Clijsters deposition.

"Kim is really nice," she said.
"Nicer than me, for sure."

Lindsay Davenport said after the final in Sydney 2003 that Kim will win a Grand Slam and that she still can improve.

"Kim Clijsters - doom and gloom's biggest enemy"

Chris Bradham, Eurosport commentator, this week in Antwerp.

That's a great quote!

This is not only a comment on Kim

But I listened to Monica Seles' interview of yesterday on an american radio and she said something like (they were speaking about Agassi and Graf,..)

"And Kim Clijsters and Lleyton Hewitt will obviously have children in the future. Those children will have some genetics...."

Some Journalist wrote this one some time ago at RG 2003.
I found it in the local newspaper.

TRANSLATION:

" ROLAND GARROS 2028 !"

The still unborn baby of Marion Jones and Tim montgomery?
Well... he might probably have run the 100 metres by then in 8"99 or if it's a girl in9"99 ! Great genetics !!!
You just need them in topsports !!!

Kim Clijsters, well... she can't complain either: mom was a belgian championne in gymnastics and dad was a " golden shoe ". ( that's a throphy awarded to the best footballplayer of the year ).
Kim's opponent in the semis tomorrow has a mother who won olympic gold in the estafette 4x400 metres in Montreal 1976. And the father of Nadia Petrova was also an olympic athlete !
" I would'nt know if her genetics are better than mine " , laughed Kimmie
But it's a fact that the future children of hers and Lleyton Hewitt will be unbelievable good tennischampions!!!
Luke Christian Sampras (1 year old), may forget about it: his mother is only an actress!!!
Jaden Gill Agassi ( 2 years old ), that will be the only opponent on Roland Garros 2028 who will be able to be a challenge for the young son of Kim and Lleyton !!! Up to that time Lleyton will for sure have the belgian nationality allready and off course... Agassi Jr. will be the one to lose in 2028 !!!!

We'll see if it will actually happen... who knows...
But i sure don't believe the part of Lleyton beeing a belgian by that time !

Kattie
