Instead of crying over 2010, I have decide to cheer for 2011, an odd year - Justine always shines in odd years.

This. :p:)

It's good decision. She will be strong in 2011, for sure.
FO title will be her for sure, she won't do any mistakes like this year.
Soooo manny titles wait on our JuJu in 2011.
I believe in her, but I don't want to make any expectations, I just want to see her play and stay healthy. :)

It's not that bad...what would be if she would start training at the and of the season, in december? That would be bad. But she'll hit the ball in October so, she'll have 3 months to prepare for the new ful of victory season. :)
Get well soon Justineeeeee.

it's a bit of a shock news given her earlier statement of wanting to try to finish off 2010 season well a few weeks ago. but then, health is far more important, she can't do things half-half with lingering injury in her mind if she starts playing not feeling 100% fit. she is a all-in person type, everything goes on to perfect or extreme.

in some other news said in oct she is only to start hitting lightly if things are on track. she will take it step by step, means she doesn't really have a lot of time to train, so this is a wise decision to get her focus for 2011. the season was more or less gone with her withdrawing from USO, i think all of us probably including herself just want her to get more match play and more ranking points to cushion for next year. nothing spectacular would we expect by end of the season anyway. her focus has long shifted to 2011 after wimby, appearance if any this year is all bonus. i like her decision to not take any risks, she is always determined and knows what she wants. she has done that before shutting down her season early for preparation for following year.

after wimby i can't bring myself to watch matches anymore except nadal and federer. tennis seems so boring again.

me too, but I also watch Sharapova, I really want her to win US Open, and I'm glad her form is higher and higher.

I'm terrible sad but I think its a good decision. I worry about her ranking and match play though. She's defending a shitload of points from Brisbane and AO. But I guess Hopman will be a good first tournament to play when coming back from injury. It's less intense.

if she is fit, now she should play syndney to get some official ranking points. yeah, was hoping she gets some points in beijing and then year end championship. sigh. not going to happen afterall.

i am sad for her not getting out of injury. and i feel terribly sad not able to see her play this year.
