They have one girl from Samoa, two from Papua New Guinea, one from Cook Islands and captain from Tahiti.

So what if when she's older (and high ranked) and she wants to represent Australia?

The Board of Directors agreed that Pacific Oceania be granted an
extended dispensation from Regulation 3 to participate in the Fed
Cup Competition in 2015 and henceforth to include players from
Associate Member Islands only and to exclude players from
Australia and New Zealand until such a time as an individual
nation was considered by the Fed Cup Committee to have the
ability to compete in its own right when the future participation of
Pacific Oceania would be reviewed

In theory this should mean that she is ineligible to play for Australia in the Fed Cup and Olympics, but there might be some sort of exception as "Pacific Oceania" is not a real nation.

Re: 2015 Asia/Oceania Zone Group II

India have this in the bag by the looks of it.

Arguably Philippines should be second with Lehnert.
Would love to see Steffi Carruthers do some damage for the Pacific though.

R.I.P Bally

Thankyou for years of service to British tennis

Lehnert and Carruthers can barely win matches now.
India is favourite and I'm saying Indonesia has a very good team as well.

For Pacific Oceania to win they should leave Carruthers out and play Tere-Apisah and Apisah.

Re: 2015 Asia/Oceania Zone Group II

Ridiculous how NZ couldn't get out of this group, with Marina slipping on a hotel floor, her and Sacha not giving two shits one year, then last years loss to India This year they couldn't actually be stuffed bringing a team since Marina didn't commit, and Hayman and Hourigan haven't played itfs since early last year for some reasons Maybe at College in America

Marina + Angie + Lizette + Dasha + Jade + JJ

I think Indonesia has a better chance for 2nd than the Phillipines. Ayu & Lavinia were both solid top 300 players I recall. I'd even tip Malaysia as a decent chance too.

Not sure what Hayman's doing but she was in Australia this year but Hourigan is at college.
They could have just played Westbury, Cheng and Lewis

Re: 2015 Asia/Oceania Zone Group II

^Westbury would have done ok, and it would have been a good experience for Rosie, who still plays junior FC (This year??) so yeah, they should have. Lewis is a good junior by NZ standards, but apparently she's nothing special

The only reason they didn't do it, was because Marina said she wasn't able to confirm whether she'd be free in April. A bit stupid since Westbury and Cheng both showed they were capable at Auckland qualies

Hopefully Hourigan comes out a better player, she hasn't actually had an itf ranking yet Decent Junior though.

Emma was in Aus Playing a tournament or was she training in Melbourne?
