Re: 2019 Europe/Africa Zone Group I (in Bath and Zielona Gora)

I still can't get the decisions of the Bulgarian captain... She never calls Aleksandrina Naydenova who is a top 100 player on doubles. Since we are talking about female sports I can imagine some personal quarrels and problems and it's probably not far from the truth but still considering the overall low level of the team and the general importance of doubles match in case of a parity after the first two matches, it's a decision I simply cannot understand.

I would like to ask someone from Poland who has information on the matter. I wrote an email to the website abilet.pl asking for the daily tickets whether will become available online. I was told that they will be sold after 15-th January but right now the website says that something that I consider meaning they will only be available at ticket offices located at place of the event and not online.

Could you also explain what the latter sentence means. Thanks

Good luck to my compatriots and favourites

DENMARK
1 Caroline WOZNIACKI 11.07.1990 3

Caro's dad now says "She has said yes, she will play" may mean she will goto Poland, but he also said ''she may not play down there...''

If that make sinze, but not sure she will play, depends on her sickness...

Looks like "she will play" in regard to olympics eligibility and she won't play at all actually. Sickness is good for that, unpredictable and all that stuff. Shame.

Well, I guess it would be hard for her to play against Poland in Poland so she might just play against Russia, lose the tie and not play against the country of her parents.

Maybe they fear that she will fix the matches

Sad that Naydenova and also Kostova are not on the squad.. but in the end it shouldn't make any big difference tho.

Re: 2019 Europe/Africa Zone Group I (in Bath and Zielona Gora)

Will the teams with 5 players have to choose 4 players who can play next week, or will they beable to pick the playing players of the 5 in the teams now?

Or in the danish team, when does Caro has to decide if she can / will play?

Re: 2019 Europe/Africa Zone Group I (in Bath and Zielona Gora)

I have kind of expected Lopatetska making the team again to get more experience. What is the format still best of two singles and one doubles?
