Re: 2016 Europe/Africa Zone II

Austria with the strongest team all round, but Denmark has Wozniacki.

Lithuania bye.

Since Slovenia withdrew, there is only 7 teams here.. Will that mean 3 teams will have to be promoted from Group III or will there be forever 7 teams now.

I'd imagine we are automatically relegated, so only one further team relegated and two promoted from group III.

No.

Re: 2016 Europe/Africa Zone II

Last time there was seven teams, two teams still relegated. Next year there was two promoted teams + Norway that did not even reach the promotional play-off in zone III, but had the best Fed Cup ranking.

No Oona Orpana

But Emma is back in as a player Trooper She holds all national FedCup records. No matter where tie is. When fit to play, she is in!

No, two are relegated. The nation finishing fourth in the pool and loser of the play-off between third teams.

She is the highest ranked Finn, so she is automatically number one.

We are so going down

Piia and Emma are not injured. Both are out for personal reasons. Emma wd because Egypt is not safe country for white women.

Näiden pohjalta Kansainvälinen Tennisliitto on tehnyt päätöksen tapahtuman järjestämisestä Kairossa.

Suomen ulkoministeriö suosittelee varovaisuutta Kairossa liikuttaessa, ja tämän vuoksi joukkue majoittuu tapahtumapaikan läheisyydessä ja välttää ylimääräistä liikkumista tapahtuma-alueen ulkopuolella.
Emma Laine quote from that. I hoped ITF moves FedCup to another country. As it did not, I have to withdraw from this years FedCup.

edit2: Team is not allowed to move anywhere but to hotel to courts and back
