Jeline is the champion!!! 6-0 7-5 victory over Gala Ivanovic. Very impressive, she came from 3-5 down in the second! Aggressive player, lots of winners and good at the net!

 

Jeline is also the U16 European champion!

Hope to see her doing well next year! Her game looked so good from what I saw of the final! Her highest junior ranking so far is 166 so hope she can go even higher!

Amazing groundstrokes. If you compare her technique to Costoulas by example, it loos so clean. The easy power is a joy to watch. If she keeps on working, the future will look great for Jeline.

 

Jeline is playing Merida GA this week. I am not so much into this mini hype yet but I hope she can have good results in U18 😀

At the Orange Bowl, Jeline qualified and is now into the third round!

 

At the J500 event, Jeline has made the quarterfinals! She beat the ninth seed Iva Ivanova 6-1 6-1!! She'll play fourth seed Iva Jovic next

 

Jeline withdrew from the australian open so hopefully she will make her grand slam debut at Roland Garros this year. Looking at the ITF junior rankings, she is currently #102, has just fallen 9 places due to some points coming off I guess.

 

Is she injured?
Why would she withdraw from a GS if she has a chance to play there?

 

She'd have to play qualifying in Australia. She's scheduled to play some big junior tournaments in Costa Rica and Colombia instead.

6-0 6-2. The other girl was pretty terrible and completely overpowered. There were barely any rallies.

Jeline will make a big jump in the rankings and will have direct entry into the main draws of the slams. We'll have to watch her against better players to see how good she really is, but her game looks very promising. I love her forehand and serve.

Jeline lost to Kaitlyn Rolls in R3 Banana Bowl 500 in Brazil but won the doubles!

She has lost to Rolls twice in singles recently so must feel good to get a win in doubles! I expect her ranking will increase as well with the win in doubles? @Castelnau
