Have any poeple on this board played challenger tournaments?
I wanted to know if there are any half pro players on this board, I once faced a guy in a match that was worth a WC into a local 10K tournament, though i lost 6-3 3rd set...
Is there anyone?

I played the pre-qualifying tournamnet for the USTA Challenger in Tampa this year @ the Harbour Island Country Club. I won my first round, but lost in the 2nd round pretty bad. It was really cool though. The guy I lost to ( an Argentine, got into the maindraw)
I'm glad I played, because now I can say I've played against pros. (so what if those pros were 1,000

I have played quite a few junior tournaments, and I have done actually quite good. A semi, two r/16 and then two 1st rounds....

I played junior tournaments in Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Morocco and Algeria 8 years ago. The only ones I can remember I played who are now good are Lovro Zovko, Stefan Wiespeiner and Juergen Melzer
