so chanda and elena are likely to play off for the number 8 seed at the australian open in this tournament, because they both played the exo in hong kong and sydney points do not count to aus open seedings.
go chanda!! if only she could have had a shot at defending her title in los angeles, she could might have got back to high ranking off number 6. i guess if she makes the semis it's still there.

I think Sugiyama's 17th tournament hasn't been taken off before adding on her points from YEC. I think it might be 2139 - 46 (17th trn) + 67 = 2160 at this point (though feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)

Other bits:
*Maggie Maleeva has dropped to 30. Reguardless of Pattaya, she shouldn't fall any lower.
*Monica Seles is 60th, may drop a few more places depending on Pattaya results.
Thats about it

if chanda beats kim she would be get a 100 point bonus right? or is it more for the champs? i guess she would get close to myskina with those kind of points. go chanda, break the hoodoo against kim tomoz.

Chanda has 95pts to come off at Sydney

that's mean. you're always hoping my favourties lose. first it's patty, now it's chanda. you should start thinking about putting someone elses' interests (ie mine) in front of your own for change

sorry Switz, but Elena needs help
but if she doesnt manage at least a SET of Amelie then she is out and even then its dodgy ground
but she needs a win tonight first, then Amelie is a gonner.
then Elena and Chanda can battle it out for SF place with Elena winning again
