Argentino I read she is very close to her brother,so he must be a great guy.
She played so many good matches,but I think the 1990 Master's final was her best match.

I kept forgetting about this forum.
Gaby was my all-time fave! When she let her game flow, she was an artist on the court. Just mesmerizing.
And to think, she was retiring when the internet was just getting going. Imagine how popular she would be if she were starting her career today!

Oh!!!Gaby was the first player who brought me attracted to the game.That was 1989.Since that day i became a fan of her and got interested in the game.by reading that thread a lot of good memories of Gaby came to my mind.
She's really missed.I wish she was still playing.She was so young when she retired.I remember i cried when i read the news of her retirement.But it'sgood to see she's still remembered and admired after the years.She was the classiest player on tour,such a nice and humble girl,wonderful tennis player and athlete,and the most beautifulto ever walk on a tenniscourt.
I really miss you,Gaby!Never a player will be like her,no matter how many years will pass. |

My father was always saying (when Gaby played) Gaby is the most beautiful player on the WTA tour
well i don't know if she was most beautiful but there is no doubt that she was one of the most beautiful players and sportswomen in the world
