Alicia to play at Rogers AT&T Cup
First Up against 9th seeded Elena Dementieva Very tough first rd match hoping she can get through but Elena will be very difficult if she makes it through the match she will probebly face Dinara Safina who has a quallifier first up and then a possible 3rd round with Myskina
So goodluck to you Alicia and continue your form you had at the beginnning of the year
KICK ASS ALICIA

If there's one thing Alicia specialises in, it's creating upsets. I'm sure she can do it again

Alicia lost 3-6 6-7
as i said previously this was always going to be a tough match for alicia so dont judge her too harshly people. going by the scoreline, she put in a good effort.

Don't worry...I'm not judging her harshly. It was a tough match and I'm sure on one of her better days, she could've won it, but no tennis player can ever play to their full potential in every match.
I'm always in awe at the commitment and dedication of professional tennis players, and no one has the right to judge them, except those who have already exceeded their level of skill and performance (which I certainly haven't, although I must say I look fabulous in a tennis dress ).

i actually think alicia did quite well especially if dementieva was playing well. taking elena d to 7-6 is pretty tough to do when she is playing well. so well done to alicia in that respect. it would have been nice if alicia won and as said above on a better day she may have won but beating elena d would have been a big step for alicia imo.
