I think she could ahve a good Open as well as some of the other girls.

I think the picture that you've been attaching is Shinobu Asagoe. Here below is Shiho Hisamatsu's picture that I've taken in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

I've seen her(Shiho) play so many time in Nonthaburi. She is a small girl ( 150 cm IMO ). She is consistent and her weapon is her speed. She is very fast and hitting the ball so well from side to side, the most important thing is she does not give any free points(unforce error) to her opponent. I'm looking forward to meet her again in December this year.

Shinobu d. Garbin 6-2 3-6 6-2

Saori d. Mikaelian 7-5 6-4

Now the going's gonna get tough. Ai's up against Nicole (who has a 4-1 lead in theri H-H record), Shinobu's taking on Mary (who played well against Jelena) and Saori's drawn Justine (who, IMO, right now is the no.1 player in terms of success). I think out of those three, Shinobu's got the biggest chance to make it to the 4th round b/c Mary's not as fit as before. Ai might beat Nicole, but everytime she goes up against a player who has a 4-1 record against her, instead of turning it around to 2-4, it becomes 1-5

And Saori...well, I'll be doing a lot of praying these next two days

And if Ai makes it to the 4th round, I hope she annihilates Francesca (who's had a good hard court season) to make up for the 6-4, 6-0 loss she suffered a couple of years ago

Anyway, good luck to the Japanese girls
