hot, not, or in between?
I often think that people fall to the "fame makes people beautiful" principle. A lot of times, I'll look at a picture of someone everyone is drooling over, and think that they don't look any better than a 100 girls that walk by in a day.
Here are links to pictures of someone that on other message boards, people claim is gorgeous. I was wondering what people who don't necessarily know who she is think. Unfortunately, they're rather old pictures because I had trouble finding pictures of her by herself. Her hair looks a lot different now, but her face and body look the same.

LOL. It isn't me who thinks she's gorgeous, it's a whole bunch of skating fans. That's why I was wondering what non-skating fans thought because I just didn't see it.

I know who she is. Shes ok. I also think people tend to think famous people are more beautiful than they actually are. Even with tennis players, there are people saying certain tennis players are so hot, but most of the time there are people on the street who are better looking. I think its bc they are just good looking for a tennis player, but not necessarily best looking out of everyone. That can apply to other fields like skating.

i agree with that comment somewhat but with some famous people i think their hott because theyre hott im not just gonna give someone credit because theyre famous im going to judge them just like i would someone walking down the street!

I think she is gorgeous. I mean I'm not saying she's the most beautiful woman in the world or anything, but she's very sexy (plus those pix don't do her justice!).

I don't exactly see a lot of skating, but I have seen more recent pictures of her and she looks better than that. She was OK then, now she is borderline hot.

in some cases it is celebrity status that makes them 'beautiful but in other cases it is something else. for example if she is the prettiest skater then she will be considered gorgeous by those who like to watch skating. this happens in everything. for example there was a teacher at my school that everyone thought was hot but that was only because compared to the other teachers she was much more beautiful not that she reall was a goddess (although she was quite pretty).
