that's easy........even though she IS the defending Champ,
of course she would rather play an event as weak as this
with 2nd seeded player be Vera Z.......who is just
off from a tiring QF in RG...

remember, Jelena is the "smart" one when it comes to
choosing the events she wanna play......
taking the easy way out is her way,
btw, i also think clay is one of her better surface,
i think she plays similar to Jen C.....so clay is her better surface,
as well as she did in Wimbies.....her 1st title actually came on clay,
hopefully this time she wont go out too soon......


oh man..i was hoping for Barbara Swartz to play here..
