Re: Roland Garros

3rd round seems winnable too: Keys/Riske or Cibulkova/Flipkens

Coin/Parmentier just defeated Makarova/Vesnina, so even SF is possible

Re: Roland Garros

Misa & Lucie won their 3rd round match 7-6(6) 3-6 6-1

They were 5-2 up in the 1st, but Keys/Riske made in to a TB. In the 2nd they were down 0-4, came back to 3-4 but it wasn't enough. Picked it up again in the 3rd

Re: Roland Garros

QF at a Slam

Well done! Saw most of it, Riske and Keys played well in the 2nd, but Misa and Lucie did well in the 3rd to recover

Re: Roland Garros

Misa & Lucie
But SF is a really nice result

Rosmalen up next where she received a MDWC. Because of that she can't play Wimbledon Q and will just play doubles there.
After Wimbledon she wants to focus a bit more on singles, playing 2 WTA tournaments and trying USO Q.

Re: Roland Garros

How do you know her schedule Sasja?

Misa doesn't seem to realise though she has points to defend from now on, I don't see her making USO Q honestly

I agree it going to be tough.
Misa is up to 35 now in the doubles ranking. Lucie is 11. And as a team they are 11 in the Road to Singapore.

Well, the good news is that they are both ranked about 200 in singles so they can travel together and play the same tournaments in singles and doubles if they want. I hope she can take the positive feeling from reaching the sf at RG doubles to her singles now, especially in Rosmalen. She really seemed to enjoy doubles in Paris with Lucie.

Here is the link btw. It wasn't on her twitter/facebook or anything but in an article about Kiki. Doesn't say which WTA tournaments though.
